About Us

The Buena Park Noon Lions Club was established in the 1950’s shortly after the city of Buena Park was incorporated.  The club has been sponsoring events within the community to support local charities and organizations.  These event include the annual city fair and parade known as Silverado Days.  The parade no longer runs, but the fair continues each October, raising thousands of dollars for local organizations.  The club also sponsors other events such as pancake breakfasts and charity dinners.  Some of the organizations that benefit from this club are the Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, the Orange County Ronald McDonald House, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the City of Hope, and many others.  In 2017, the Buena Park Noon Lions Club Foundation was officially formed as a 501(c)(3) California Public Nonprofit Corporations.  This allows the club to take donations to further its reach to local needs.
